Nikita: I never thought of it like this before. Always every-time I remember that day, I think of how much Joe was like Jeremiah in my life. Until now I never considered that if Joe hadn't met that one farmer outside of Smallville, he would have given me a VERY different report and advice on what humanity is like in the first place.
Clark
Kent: I
do not understand.
Nikita: If
I hadn't met the angel that is Jeremiah Danvers in the pit of demons
that was the DEO, I would never have known there were Earth humans
like him. The only other person like
him I
ever met was an alien himself. But Joe, Jor-el to use his native
name, had a human like that in his brief time on Earth as well: The
farmer Hiram Kent and his wife. If it wasn't for that man, we
wouldn't have Superman in our ranks at all. Kal would never have been
sent to a 'primitive planet' like earth if his father had not
similarly met a star in the ashes exception to your people!
Note: She might not know it but she is talking to superman/Kal-el. Nikita is referring to Jor-el who called himself 'Joe' when he showed up in Smallville 40 years ago. This is actually STRIAGHT out of season 3 of the show Smallville. A scene in which Jor-el visited Earth as a young man, and while being wanted for murder, met a farmer Hiram Kent and his wife..
Nikita: J'onn, I have more reason to love Jeremiah Danvers and more reason to pity Hank Henshaw than you have to respect or fear either of them.
J'onn J'onzz: I hope one day you'll tell me more about him.
Nikita: If you dont' mind a lot of gushing, I can do so now. But I'm worried your attitude toward Henshaw will be colored. I mean, if I didn't hate him, I don't think anyone should. But I know you have no reason to respect the man. And I am pretty scared stiff that you'll accuse me of 'softening his image'. Or something like that.
J'onn J'onzz: you don't think he was an asshole?!
Nikita: I think he was blind, driven, single-minded and didn't exactly use kid gloves on me. But I was an alien who refused to answer his questions, I was an illegal immigrant he didn't know how to make heads or tails of at it was literally his job to expect to have to deal with the worst of us at any given moment. He was so consumed with duty he didn't see reality. But everything he did was to defend the planet he called his home from people he honestly saw as the enemy. I feel sad for him and I regret the result. But it was something beyond either of our controls. Honestly, considering I had absolutely no legal rights at the time he could have done literally anything to me and never did anything for the express purpose of hurting me or making me miserable. Hell even I thought you were a threat at first!”
J'onn J'onzz: how do you mean?
Nikita: you're a little bit of a beast all the time. In your natural form it is glaringly obvious you are a formidable warrior and a powerful alien. Without my empathic powers I would have been scared stiff of you, literally held in place by my fear of you when we first met. And Hank knew you were a Martian. The information I gave him as to your behavioral and chemical profile, what you were capable of and how you would use it was based on WHITE martians. Armed only with that, is it really surprising he went in on full alert and ready to shoot anything that moved?
J'onn Jo'nzz: No...I guess not.
Note on Earth-9: Henshaw recruits Jeremiah into the DEO by threatening his daughter, Alex. Not under suspicion of being an alien but more for some of the extra-curricular activities that could get her in a hell of a lot of trouble if anyone ever learned about them. Henshaw, Jeremiah and two other agents, Steel and Collins go into the Canadian Rockies after a 'humanoid alien'. This is of course Nikita. The young woman willingly and without compulsion answers all of Henshaw's questions. Which confuses Henshaw considering her obvious disdain and loathing for him. Jeremiah notices she is using the politeness of a head of state or someone in the diplomatic corps. No matter how she personally feels, she gets the job done with decorum and brevity
Central City: Cisco is engaged to Kendra Saunders. Eddie and Iris are married. Caitlin has three children with Ronnie. Barry Allen splits his time evenly between his theoretical physics studies at the university and watching the skies from his tech-enhanced stables. He observes a kryptonian pod crash about 7 kilometers from his place. A blonde-haired female alien Kara (pronounced Care-a) emerges and he takes her in. They become roommates and close friends, but nothing more. Together with Raymond Palmer the 3 form the super-friends: science and technology geeks who solve the mysteries of the universe. Barry Allen is NOT the Flash on this earth. Eddie Thawne is. Caitlin and Ronnie's children are named Irene, Harry and Jesse. Eddie and Iris when they have kids will name the first one Gabe. They plan to name their next child Monica but after her death they name their daughter Thea, in memory of the hero who died fighting against Damien Darhk.

27 May 21st 2016:
Harrison Wells lifted himself from his exercise bars and settled himself in his wheelchair as Barry Allen walked into the room. “Barry, are you alright?”
“Shouldn't I be asking you that?” Barry joked.
Wells sighed as he wiped the sweat from his brow. “I'll be up and about soon enough. But I can't just sit around letting my legs go, can I? Honestly Barry you seem, preoccupied. Not like one lost in love awaiting his big day.”
“I'll swallow the witty comeback I had for that one because I really want you in a good mood, for what I'm about to ask you.”
“I'm...not sure I understand.”
“Dr. Wells...Joe asked you to take care of me, be by my side in this winding, wild and wacky journey I've chosen as my life..”
“I've tried to do the best I can. You know I'm not good at the whole emotions...caring for others thing since Tess died...not at making it obvious anyway.”
“No, you've done amazing you've been amazing. I...was hoping I could convince you to...literally... be by my side...when Caitlin and I say our vows.”
“Allen, I...for the first time in my life I'm not sure what to say.”
“You've been by my side, lock-step with me, almost like a second father since I became the Flash. And Joe...I know he would have approved...because he asked you to look after me.”
“Barry, I accept of course but, you know it'll look...extremely awkward.”
“It'll be weird to some people sure. But our lives ARE weird...Caitlin's and mine. Weird isn't something to be advertised usually...but this is one time it's wrong to hide who we are, weird is in our job description. And it is because of you that I don't care what people think who can't bring themselves to understand that we ARE different than them.”
“Actually, I just meant I'll probably still be in a wheelchair but that's a point too.”
“Felicity and Curtis actually came up with a solution to that one. They made an implantable bio-stimulant to be used for combat vets and Paralysis victims. Oliver says they want to 'surprise us with a gift' so act surprised okay?”
“In that spirit, may I seek your counsel on a similar matter?”
“Okay color me intrigued.” Barry said uncertainly but wholeheartedly.
“I want to ask my partner to marry me, that is to make our partnership official. Do you think Martin would say yes, if I asked him?”
“I didn't know the two of you were getting that serious. I do think you are meant for each-other, as much as two people can be. Just don't ask him at our wedding. His regard for lack of another word of me is such I don't think he'd want either of us in the other's spotlight. Not that you need me to tell you that.” He chuckled softly.
“No, I know what you mean. I am beyond honored you've offered this to me...I accept.”
“I might actually start calling you 'Harrison' after a while.” Barry Allen joked.
“I think I'd actually like that.” Dr. Harrison Wells said affably.
“By the way, who's gonna be your best man.”
“There's only one answer for that...Oliver Queen.”
“Excellent choice.”
Earth 27; July 27th 2016
“Oliver can I take with you for a minute?”
Oliver Queen looked up from his novella to a welcome sight: Quentin Lance standing in his study as if he belonged there. “Of course Quentin, what's up?”
“I know when the three of us are together, you mom me and you you're very chill about it and I appreciate that. But I wanted to know...ARE you okay with it?”
“Mr. Lance, you've been seeing my mom romantically for a year and a half, you've been living with her for the past five months if I had a problem with it you'd have heard about it like way before now. And is this going where I think it's going?”
“I want to propose to her. Why do I feel like I'm rushing things here?”
“You don't.” Oliver answered easily. “You want to know if this is a marriage of convenience, or whether she'll think you're charging in. She won't and you're not. You're direct and plainspoken with the biggest heart and the strongest moral compass of anyone I have ever-known. Be equally unadorned,no fanfare, no parade, just ask.”
“Wow, on the list of things I thought you'd say that is...was nowhere near the top.”
Oliver's face went completely blank for about five seconds. “Wait, were you nervous about what she would say or...about what I would say?”
“Oliver to say we have a complicated history is an understatement. We've had a lot of crap we've had to push through over the years..”
“..And we've had almost as much crap happen to us that we've pushed through together. Our relationship, as myself at least, has been through so many ups and downs I've lost track of when I was looking up. You didn't realize it as t the time, how could you but as the Arrow I saw another side of you. And if I hadn't still been worried how'd you'd feel about it, I would have been warmer. I'm sorry I should have trusted you more. Besides, it meant a lot more than you apparently realize when you admitted to having worked with the Arrow last year. You risked happiness with my mom, and falling from Grace in my eyes, standing up for a masked man in a hood that the entire city thought was a murderer all over again. 'We've been through a lot', is sure as hell an understatement, but I think you're focusing on the wrong part of that expression: we've been through it.”
“Did she already know?” Quentin asked suddenly.
“I hadn't told her. It turns out I wasn't good at hiding, she already knew. And something I've been waiting to tell you, since that day on the bridge I think, whether you're with my mom or not...I've always tried to make you proud of me...like I think it would be with a father. So to recap then.” Oliver said in rather a weak voice. Yes, I'm fine with it, and yes, I want you to be a part of the family...of MY family. And I'm very sorry if I ever made you feel otherwise.”
“I...I feel like I should hug you right now.”
“Yeah I'd say it's a hug thing.” Oliver replied, embracing Quentin with affection and joy.
